For when you need some motivation to get started.

One of the benefits of working with a coach is just having the weekly time set aside to work on your longer term goals and aspirations outside of your day to day.  It can be so easy to get caught up in what is urgent now and not make time for the longer term planning of your career and your life.

What’s surprising is that it doesn’t take much time. Even if you set aside 30-45 minutes per week to intentionally decide and plan your next steps it can make a huge difference in progressing you towards your goals.

As my client points out in her experience below, one of the biggest benefits for her was reducing her overall mental load.  Instead of having decisions that needed to be made at some point hanging over her, she was able to work through them in our sessions and put to rest the uncertainty she had been living in for months.

‘’The most impactful part of working with Kelsey was that it gave me time to gather my thoughts and better articulate what I wanted for myself out of my next career move. I’ve had these ideas on the back of my mind for so long now.  Having these sessions has really brought things to the forefront. It’s allowed me to approach the problem head on instead of letting it linger. It’s taken such a big mental load off of me.

Kelsey helped me get clarity so that I can take action to set myself up to ask for what I wanted. Without her help, I would be less certain in myself. I like being really prepared for things and she helped me prepare for a big career conversation. Even when I got questions that I wasn’t expecting, I was better able to react because of our preparation.

Even though it was a difficult conversation and I didn’t get the exact answer I wanted, I felt good afterwards.  Because I knew that I was prepared, I was proud of myself for advocating for myself and I got clarity out of the conversation.’’
